A manufacturer of Ceramics is in search for an strong Electrical Millwright with experience in a manufacturing environment to install, maintain, repair, assemble and move machinery in factories and production plants.

The ideal incumbent will have a Trade Test or higher and 6 years’ working experience; a self-driven person with a lot of energy and good people skills that can work under pressure and has potential to be further promoted.

Position details:

Type: Permanent.
Reports to: Factory Manager.

Job description / core competencies:

Read diagrams, schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
Align machines and equipment.
Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
Assemble and install equipment.
Attach moving parts and sub-assemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power tools.
Assemble machines and bolt, weld, rivet or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
