Job Description:

Technical management of control system and system products within the Engineering department which includes drawings, bills of material, specifications and certification
Responsible for the application engineering of products (support, system integration and product application troubleshooting)
Software development for control systems and provide input to both local and global software specifications and developments
Manage all technical documentation (functional specifications, service manuals, training material and maintenance guidelines)
Configure and track machine software
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and guidelines
Uphold the technical integrity of products by avoiding degradation of product functions
Conduct regular failure analysis and troubleshooting to ensure continuous product improvement

Minimum Requirements:

BSc/B.Eng in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering
Minimum of 4 years practical working experience in C Programming language
Knowledge and understanding of underground mining equipment advantageous
SAP/R3 experience advantageous
Must have a valid driver’s licence with own transport
