Electrical Supervisor / Electrician – Brackenfell Cape Town
Our client a building concern is looking for an Electrical Supervisor / Electrician with a Wireman’s license
Salary – Basic plus benefits
Min Requirements
• Matric / Grade 12;
• Certificate in Production/ supervising an added advantage.
• Wireman’s license (COC Electrical Installation)
• Electrical Engineer Certificate.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience
• Experience in batch production of fabricated structure including Park homes, panels, sides and ends, ceilings, chassis, utilities and structural repairs and painting.
• Experience in ISO & OHSAct.

Job Requirements
• Ensure that the electrical installation on all relevant buildings are done within agreed target time, cost and quality objective.
• Ensure the handover of all buildings’ Electrical Certificates of compliance from refurb team to the Transport and Fleet controller at least one day prior to the intended dispatch.
• Plan the electrical Rentals refurb work within a minimum window of one week and ensure compliance according to the set plan.
• Plan and circulate the agreed refurb plan relating to any long term/ project requirements as and when required.
• Actively look for and create opportunities to improve process and reduce cost.
• Establish, develop and maintain relationship with current and future workforce.
• Expedite and follow up on the successful completion of projects.
• Calculate and submit material requirements to the stores to ensure ample time to procure raw material.
• Ensure compliance to all companies’ policies and procedures.
• Compliance to all reasonable instructions.
• Ensure compliance to the organisational health and Safety code of conduct.
• Ensure that all subordinates have the skills and knowledge to carry out their functions efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure positive contributions to departments’ performance by setting of objectives, coaching and counselling.
• Maintaining discipline according to the company’s code of conduct.
