Grade 12 and/or equivalent
Electrical Trade Qualification (Section 13/26D)

Work Experience:
• 5 – 6 Years related experience in Sawmill environment.
• Knowledge of:-
PLC’s Micro Logix 1100 & 1400(Allen Bradley) ,
Allen Bradley Panel Views, Allen Bradley Pico Controllers, GSM Commanders and Siemens PLC will be an advantage

Responsible for effective planning and supervising of electrical department to ensure optimum operation of plant.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Staff Supervision
• Administers and manages budget of Electrical department.
• Supervises electrical maintenance of all machines on plant by supervising planned and breakdown maintenance
• Buy all electrical switch gear and consumables for maintenance and new installations
• Installs new electrical equipment in plant as instructed by Mill Manager
• Maintains existing electrical equipment in plant
• Repairs breakdowns as indicated on job card
• Enforces compliance to Safety Rules and Regulations according to OHS Act by subordinates
• Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping standards within area of responsibility
