Our client in the automotive component manufacturing industry is looking to employ a qualified Electrician in East London

Minimum requirements

NQF 3 qualification / Trade test min Electrician (Pre-requisite)
2. 3-5 years Motor Industry Manufacturing experience.
3. Working knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics, Electrical and Mechanical repairs, general Engineering and machining.
4. Ability to perform various types of welds i.e. arc, gas and manual.
5. Basic Health & Safety knowledge OHS ACT
6. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and electrical drawings.
7. Effective time management skills.
8. Good working knowledge of single phase and 3 phase electrical equipment as well as VSD Drives
9. Ability to build and repair electrical circuits (Pre-requisite)
10. Good Programming skills on Siemens S7 (Advantageous)
11. Good Fault Finding Skills a (Pre-requisite)
12. Knowledge of production process, CO2 welding, Spot Welding, Automation on Jigs & Fixtures.
13. Good communication skills.
14. Good PC Skills all-rounder (Networking is Advantageous)
15. Good Working Knowledge of Robots, Robotic Welding Cells & Laser Cells
