National Lumber products producer requires an Electrician.

The successful incumbent will be responsible to assist in tasks and activities associated with medium /low voltage electrical installations, maintenance and repairs of sawmilling equipment.

Requirements: 

• Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
• Qualified Electrician
• 3 Years working experience as an Electrical within the Sawmill industry
• Thorough knowledge of Allen Bradley, A.B.B, S.E.W. and Siemens, PLC’s VFD’s, and computer controlled scanning and cutting systems
• Must understand and solve faults by using electrical circuit diagrams
• Must be able to carry out installation, maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Must be able to install electrical accessories and ancillary equipment
• Must be proficient with administration duties
• Willing to work continuous operation shifts and overtime as and when required
• Good problem solving abilities

• Must be a mature self-motivated and well-disciplined person of sober habits
• Must be a team player and work well with peers and supervisors
• Promote a high safety standard
• Valid code 8 driver’s license and own transport
