A National Infrastructure Management company is looking for an ELECTRICIAN at their offices in PAARL.
An energetic, dynamic individual need apply. The suitable candidate must have the following minimum qualifications and skills:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12/N3 with an Electrical Trade Diploma (Red Seal/Section 13)
• 5 Years’ experience in a maintenance environment;
• Knowledge of Statutory Health and Safety Laws;
• Computer literacy, MS Word, MS Excel;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Valid Driver’s license with own Transport;
• Experience in Electrical Fault finding, civil works, welding and mechanical repairs is a requirement;
• Certification of Medical Fitness;
• CCTV/Access Control experience;
• Working at Heights and in confined spaces;
• Capable of management of self and others;
• 11kV experience/certified operator or able to obtain certificate.
JOB SCOPE:

• Functional Reporting to Technical Manager;
• Maintenance and fault finding on electrical reticulation equipment;
• Occupational health, safety and machinery issues as contemplated in the OHSAct 85 of 1993.
• General fault finding in respect electrical, mechanical, building, plumbing and air-conditioning;
• Planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities;
• Perform any other reasonable tasks required by Technical Manager;
• Standby Duties;
• Manage the procurement of new components and replacements when needed.

This position will be based in PAARL, WESTERN CAPE.
