Qualifications:

Minimum N3 qualified Electrician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering Sector.

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of electrical fault finding. Extensive knowledge of all machinery in Foundry.
Electro / pneumatics fault finding experience. Troubleshooting through reading electrical wiring diagrams. Troubleshooting by interpreting pneumatic and hydraulic circuits. Exposure to using the 5why analysis Tools. Overhauling of pumps. Knowledge and experience of coupling alignment. Conveyor maintenance experience. Eliminating air leak experience. Bearing knowledge with regards to application, mounting and dismounting. Industrial electronic experience. Automation experience. Kuka Robotic maintenance experience. Supporting of projects. Techniques for eliminating repetitive breakdowns. Welding / Fabrication / Pipe work experience. Vibration monitoring knowledge and experience. Industrial fan maintenance experience. Turning experience. Prepare training records from breakdowns and share knowledge and experience. Operational inspections of Compressors (Log book recordings). Knowledge of various lubricants. Servicing and repairing various gear boxes. Recommend maintenance tasks from machine documentation. Cooling Tower Maintenance experience. Knowledge of Gas Trains. Knowledge of Safety Rep responsibilities.

Other requirements:

Required to do mechanical duties as and when needed. Computer Literacy (added advantage). Able to work unsupervised and within a team. Good communication skills. Strong problem solving skills.
