Electronic Media Marketing Officer (open to all)

Area: Laser Park, Honeydew.

Salary: Salary R15 000, 13th and discretionary bonus.

This person needs to have knowledge of the relevant computer packages.

Job description for Electronic Media Marketing Officer
• Electronic Mail Campaigns (using Mailchimp)
• Maintenance of Website using Wordpress and Templates
• Maintenance of Facebook, Twitter and Google + profile. Posting news and articles
• Corporate Identity definition, protection and promotion
• Electronic Newsletters for staff
• Maintenance of the Intranet
• Advertising
• Product roadshows
• Trade shows
• Google SEO and Adwords campaigns
• Electronic Brochures
• Assistance with arrangements and preparation for demonstrations to clients

Background and experience:

• Preferably have 5 years experience in a similar position
• Must have knowledge of the ICT market. Exposure to other sectors such as Banking, Mining and Retail will be highly advantageous
• Expert working knowledge of Wordpress (Must be able to demonstrate this ability through samples of sites that are live on the web)
• Graphic Design:
o Preferably have Graphic Design qualification (Diploma)
o Working knowledge Adobe products and especially of Photoshop and must be able to show some work done using Photoshop and other Adobe products
• Experience with Google SEO and Adwords
• Creative writing skills
• Preferably have experience with corporate identity protection and promotion
• Preferably be able to show some work done in terms of creative writing for a company
• MUST be fluent in Afrikaans and English
