Electronic Sales Engineer Job Description
Introduction
Established Company in the Electronic Component Distribution Industry seeks a Technical Sales Engineer (Field Application Engineer) with good knowledge of Electronic Components and Technical Sales experience.

Qualification
• Electronic Degree / Electronic Technical Certificate
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have own vehicle.

Experience required:
· Must be familiar with the Electronic Design procedure from concept to production
· Good client knowledge and relationship will be an advantage

Responsibilities:
· Promoting sales of the supplier lines specifically GSM/GPS, Wifi, BT, RF, POWER SUPPLIES, Semiconductors etc.
· Establish and maintain good communications and feedback with our customers
· Cold calling and finding and visiting new clients
· Be able to represent the company at the client and be able to pitch the products to the client effectively
· Be able to feedback all clients requirement back to the Companies Director’s and finding solutions from the suppliers.
· Be able to probe client for new business
· Build and maintain key customer base including, new designs, technical support as well as booking new business – maintain and build a design pipe
· Liaise with manufacturers on new technologies and promoting to clients
· Feedback requirements to manufacturers and grow demand creation
· Adhering to all company policies and standard operating procedures

Salary
Salary highly negotiable. – Depending on the candidates’ experience. Salary structure is made of good basic Salary (which includes Medical Aid, Provident fund, cell phone allowance, UIF and vehicle allowance) and a commission portion (which will be linked to a certain budget that the candidate should achieve)
