Electronic Service Engineer
The company supplies systems integration services to the electronics manufacturing industry supporting computer controlled industrial automation equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Systems installation, commissioning, diagnostic testing, and fault isolation
• Repairs at the customer location and in a work shop
• Inspection of system components, preventive maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of modules.
• Maintains and repairs electronics, electrical- mechanical equipment and optical equipment and other systems and equipment
• Performs system functional analysis and failure data reporting, evaluates system performance, install approved system modifications
• Recommends system architecture and technical change proposals
• Analyse system operations and perform training
• Fault detection, isolation, and correction of hardware systems and individual components.
• Routine system maintenance and analysis functions including: hardware configurations; adding, removing and replacing hardware components; use of hardware and software diagnostic testing tools; installing computer OS
• Distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems
• Document maintenance tasks via e mails and hard copy reporting system, provides system functional briefings to customer and supervisor
• Works with minimal supervision

Skill Set
• Strong background in mechatronics, electronics, computer controlled equipment hardware and software and networks
• Must have knowledge of and experience in the operations of hardware systems
• Experience in interpreting system drawings, electronic schematics
• High reliability mechanical skills
• High reliability soldering skills.
• Have diploma in technical field or an equivalent level of understanding of a computer controlled automatic electro mechanical equipment and a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a related capacity
• Experience in servicing of equipment in electronics industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction
• Ability to travel locally and overseas for work and training on short notice
