We looking for Electronic Technician with N4 Electronics or Assembler Trade Qualification for client who develops and manufacture, sell and support a product that has scanning and biometric capabilities.

• Knowledge and understanding of quality processes
• Internal inventory management to ensure enough material is available to prevent stoppages
• Building of proto types
• Must have experience on component level repairs
• Must have excellent soldering skills
• Must be proficient in electronic fault finding
• Repair equipment and replacing parts
• Strong technical and organisational skills
• Meticulous and methodical nature
• Must have experience using test and other electronic equipment e.g. multi-meter, oscilloscope etc.
• Must be able to make use of hand tools and small power tools
• Must be able to read and understandassembly drawings and instructions , datasheets and written work instructions.
• Liaise with support personnel
• Responsible for all day-to-day associated tasks with assembly and repair and testing capability in a technical environment
• Electronic and mechanical assembly and the installation of components following approved specifications
• The use of electronic, hand, power tools, for customization of units and adjustments or repairs according to written specifications
• Inspects and tests all produced assemblies prior to delivery
• Administration and update of records, serial numbers
• Managing stock
• Must be willing to work extended hours if so required
• Capable to work well under pressure
• A logical mind
• Enthusiasm to be continually learning
• Computer literate
• Have good communication skills - verbal and written
• Be highly motivated, a self-starter and capable of working independently as well as in a team
• Be well organized and able to multi-task
Minimum Requirements
? Relevant qualifications (e.g. N4 in Electronics or Assembler Trade qualification)
? Minimum 1 year experience
? RSA citizen
? Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
