Qualification
N6 Diploma or Equivalent

Program

Experience
Min 3 Years’ Experience as an electronic service technician in the mining industry
Must have a valid drivers’ licence

Responsibilities
Company Systems
Ensure that all ECAM (Pty) Ltd systems, internal or on site, remain in a safe working condition
Undertake audits on systems
Undertake breakdown callouts
Customer Care
Undertake audits on systems
Undertake breakdown callouts
Equipment
Ensure a sufficient level of spares and equipment at all times
Faulty spares and equipment must be repaired as soon as possible, by either the service technician, or it must be sent in for repair to the relevant department, this includes the service vehicle and service cell phone.
Commissioning of New Systems
The commissioning of new systems.
To commission equipment on site
Ensure that after the commissioning of equipment on site is completed, a site hand-over certificate is filled in and signed by the customer

General
Be able to perform tasks that may fall outside the scope of this job description and that may come up from time to time taking into account any training that may or may not be needed to perform the task.
