A leading South African repair company is looking for a highly talented Electronic Technician with the ability to analyse electronic circuitry, conduct fault finding, test and repair. A vacancy exists for an Electronic Technician based in Johannesburg, with knowledge of Industrial control system equipment.

Attributes:
• Identify & solve problems
• Ability to work and repair any brand of AC/ DC drives or control equipment.
• Conduct electronic and electrical tests using test equipment
• Knowledge of electronic components, instrumentation and test equipment.
• Ability to solder components, included is SMD soldering.
• Understanding electronic and electrical principals - hands on
• Knowledge of PLC may be advantageous but is not essential.
• Read wiring diagrams, datasheets, electrical and electronic diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable with change and excellent team player
• Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems
• Be able to work in a pressured environment.
• Be able to complete tasks quickly & efficiently.
• Be willing to go the extra mile.

Qualifications:
• N6 Electrical. Electronic Engineering or National Diploma Electrical /Electronic Engineering are recommended.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant industry or repairs.
