An electronics retail company with 2 branches in Joburg is looking for an Electronics Merchandiser to start immediately.

The ideal candidate will be required to meet the following qualifying criteria:-

Must have Metric and a Merchandising/Sales qualification.
At least 5+ year’s electronics merchandising experience.
Should have vast knowledge of electronics, gadgets, games, etc…

DUTIES
Purchasing of electronics and gadgets from other branches or suppliers, planning and monitoring stock levels.
Assessing new orders, pricing, bar-cording and ensuring that the stock is packed neatly.
Ensuring that display is neat at all times.
Handling and monitoring stock transfers, verifying that actual stock tally with stock on the system.
Stock take, stock management.
Budgeting, setting prices to maximize profits and manage the performance of different ranges of products, planning promotions and markdowns if necessary.
Overseeing delivery and distribution of stock and dealing with suppliers.
