Employee Relations Manager needed for a leading construction company in Durban!

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ER Manager to effectively handle administration of grievances and discipline, mobilisation and demobilisation of employees to site, control of Shop Stewards meetings, liaise with trade union officials, represent the company at the CCMA, audit sub-contractors for compliance to the law and IR procedure, assist employees with pay queries, monitors industry agreements, report writing, minute taking at IR meetings, administration of training records, induction of new employees, termination of limited duration contract employees. The incumbent will be part Manage the Industrial Relations for the division, conduct and develop Industrial Relations related training, facilitate the implementation of regular meetings between management and organized labour, facilitate and maintain a good working relationship with unions and union officials, monitor, review, and suggest interventions to optimise collective agreements, consult and advise management and employees with regard to legislation, policies and procedures, monitor internal labour relations trends and submit relevant reports, facilitate and conduct negotiations/consultations at unit level within the framework of the company’s policy. Ideally you will have a National Diploma/Degree in Industrial Relations/Human Resources. A minimum of 6 years IR experience and 4 years in a construction/engineering industry is essential.
