The suitable candidate must have a B.Eng. or B.Sc. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, as well as a Government Certificate of Competence – Factories.

The suitable candidate must have two to three years’ proven experience in the food producing industry, with specific experience in among others:

Scheduled maintenance systems;
PLCs and SCADA systems;
Maintaining packaging equipment.

CORE TASKS:

- Managing total maintenance: site, buildings and equipment;

- Drawing up and implementing an annual capital budget;

- Managing projects;

- Managing the occupational safety and health programme;

- Managing total site security;

- Staff training and development;

- Systems, procedures and practices;

- Continuous improvement of equipment and processes.
