KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE, INTER ALIA:
Coordinate, implement, control and monitor change plans;
Obtain, check, refine and capture information accurately to ensure data integrity;
Supervise and monitor engineering services;
Ensure effective design, procurement, project control, quality, construction and commissioning;
Manage workshop and provide technical support;
Monitor maintenance and repairs, provide support and assistance to the department;
Monitor maintenance, installation and repair of electric equipment and repair of electrical equipment
and power supply units and lines on planned maintenance and break down work orders;
Identify improvement initiatives;
Implement and monitor compliance to SHERQ programs;
Implement compliance requirements;
Implementation of operational plans;
Collate integrated scorecards for work areas, operations and business groups;
Perform trend analysis and internal audits;
Resolve cross functional operating conflicts;
Manage and monitor engineering contractors
Implement risk mechanisms and ensure all legislative, accreditation and governance requirements are
met;
Identify and develop cost reduction initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
GCC Certificate in Opencast and Underground Mines;
National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
Eight (8) years Engineering or Maintenance services and projects experience;
Five (5) years Management experience;
Five (5) years Section Engineer, planned maintenance and workshop management experience in a
Trackless Mobile Machinery and rail or heavy engineering industry;
Valid code B (08) driving license.
