What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the FMCG Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Capacity planning for future plant requirements
* Create 5-10 year CAPEX and Machine Acquisition Strategy
* Determine and Control Budgets for CAPEX and Maintenance
* Head up plant maintenance
* Implement World Class Manufacturing practices in maintenance and CAPEX
* Drive CI/TPM and or RCM initiatives
* Drive utilities and site services such as steam, water, compressed air, gas, heating, cooling, effluent, waste
* Maintain vehicles, buildings and ancillary equipment'
* Manage spares without losses
* Act as GMR 2 appointee
* Ensure compliance with by-laws and OHSA laws
* Motivate and develop staff
* Adhere to organizational good manufacturing practices
* Occasional overtime

Key Job Deliverables:

* Drive CAPEX Projects
* Enhance Maintenance Practices to WCM Levels
* Maximise Overal Equipment Availability

Background work experience:

* 5+ years post GCC
* 10+ years in Plant Maintenance
* GCC + Dip/Deg
* Experience in Large and Complex CAPEX Projects
* TPM/RCM or Equivalent
* Working in a WCM Facility
* FMCG Manufacturing for GLobal Markets
