Requirements:
- Grade 12
- BSc Engineering or BTech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- GCC Certificate is essential
- Minimum 10 years' maintenance management experience in engineering, preferably in a FMCG manufacturing
environment
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership / supervisory role
- Good understanding of packaging / utilities / pharmaceutical processes
- Knowledge of SCADA
- Knowledge and understanding of PLC programming languages, design, development and implementation of
control / instrumentation system

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of highly motivated and competent maintenance / technical staff
- Manage various projects
- Develop and control the maintenance budget and consumables inventory for the production unit
- Monitor and control the monthly maintenance expenditure & investigate discrepancies
- Ensure minimum downtime in the production areas
- Maintain daily efficiency targets
- Ensure equipment and machinery is checked and maintained fir for purpose
- Participate in continuous improvement plans and actions
- Ensure that cGMP requirements are applied in all areas
- Maintain records
- Ensure that the required verification, validation, monitoring, inspection and test activities specific to the products
are in place
- Prepares for and participates in external audits
