ENGINEERING PLANNER (AUTOMOTIVE), BRITS, RNEG + BEN

• Must have Diploma Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering will be an added advantage
• 3-5 Years experience in Motor Industry.
• Technical product knowledge.
• Project planning.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering/technical drawings.
• Understanding financials.

DUTIES:
Introduction of new products.
• Product release.
• Generate FMEA, PQP, ILU and Setting plans.
• Improvement of existing process.
• Adherence to CDQ, Norms, booklets and procedures.
• Ensure machine and process capability.
• Identify obsolete spare parts and consumables availability . level).
• Improvement of operating procedure (ILU and Setting plans).
• Ensure that Customer specific requirements are adhered too.
• Budget and forecasting expenditure(i.e. MAE & EWAK).
• Responsible for work place safety and environmental requirements.
• Adherence to all quality standards.
• Responsible to reduce cost i.e. labour, material etc.
• Machine and equipment acceptance ( Machine or equipment specification).
• Replacing gauges when out of specification.
• Ensure Customer changes are introduced as required by ECR.
• Maintain asset register.
• Regurlar update of MSDS and workplace specific information.
• Assist ECR when necessary.
• Introduce actions to reduce scrap costs.
• Training of Team leaders, Setters and Machinists with regards to process related matters.
• Regurlar technical capacity updates.
