A position for a Portifolio Manager has risen with our client in the Engineering Sector. The purpose of the job is to be responsible for the management of allocated ERW projects in various parts of the world. This post includes the writing of proposals, budgeting and managing of project employees. Strategic Management is an integral part of this post.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Business Development in ERW.
Relationships with clients and contract employees.
Sound financial management of projects.
Execute and implement the company strategy within department.
Quality management.
Compile monthly budget with the help of Project Managers to stay within contractual obligations.
Manage department to reach financial goals.
To ensure high quality, cost effective ERW work to all international clients.

CRITICAL SKILLS

Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
Must be able to travel and be able to live in harsh environments.
Must have held a prior leadership management position.
Must be able to work in a group and communicate with clients/ on all levels.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
BEng, BCom, MBA, LLB or Project management.
Military experience or equivalent training.
Project Management experience.
Knowledge of strategic management will be an advantage.
Computer literate, Windows and Microsoft Office.
Drivers Licence
Financial acumen.
