A permanent position exists for a Store Manager for a well established manufacturing company based in Pietermaritzburg. The successful candidate will be required to report to the engineering manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric
• 5-8 Years experience in an engineering stores environment
• A relevant degree or diploma in procurement, purchasing or logistics
• Advanced Computer Literacy
• Management and product knowledge essential
• Trustworthy and confidentiality
• Detail orientated and professional work ethic
• Strong verbal, written & interpersonal skills

ROLE

• Maintaining stock levels of goods and ensuring stock processes are completed.
• Liaising with suppliers, clients and customers
• Management over personnel and workers
• Vehicle inspections
• Ensure records and reports are up to date and maintained
• Improvement of information systems continuously
• Monthly reporting
