Requirements:
• N4 Certificate
• Electrician / Millwright Trade Test
• Knowledge of Diesel equipment
• Extensive knowledge of Electrical Reticulation (MV & HV)
• 10 years Mining experience and 2 years Engineering Superintendent experience in a Coal Mining Environment
• Computer Literate
• Valid Drivers License
• Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act
• Ability to work independently and in a team as well as under pressure
• Physically fit and able to pass a medical / fitness test

Duties:
• Manage the day to day running of the services or plants
• Ensure compliance to Mine Health and Safety Act and its Regulation across the Mine
• Conduct root cause failure analysis and review of implemented actions
• Develop, interpret and execute Maintenance Optimization strategies for the Mine
• Manage all legal compliance requirements across the Mine
• Create, modify and review maintenance task lists
• Review and analyse engineering drawings and make recommendations to the Engineer
• Oversee the complete engineering projects process from the approved life of mine implementation to implementation of the strategies and its project within budget
• Manage the maintenance, procurement, planning and scheduling of LDVs of the Mine
