JOB SUMMARY
To provide community and workplace-based combination HIV prevention services to high-risk sexually active adults, including but not limited to the provision of HIV counselling and testing, provision of point-of-care CD4 testing, and symptom screening for sexually transmitted infections and tuberculosis, and appropriate referral to HIV, STI, and TB care and treatment services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate
- Current SANC registration
- Ability to communicate in 3 of the following languages: Zulu, Swazi, Tsonga, Sotho, Sepedi, Ndebele
- Ability to work non-traditional hours which may include evenings and weekends
- Computer literacy – basic MS Office software
- Clear criminal record
- Residence in Witbank or Middelberg
- Valid driver’s license (own vehicle will be an added advantage)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL SAND COMPETENCIES
- At least 2 years’ HIV, STI and TB experience (preferably at a DOH or PEPFAR-supported site)
- Good counselling and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate understanding of nursing legislation and related legal ethics
- Committed and motivated to preventing HIV, STIs and TB
- Non-judgmental, trustworthy and empathetic personality
- Knowledge of HCT guidelines and CD4-based ART eligibility criteria

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with high-risk groups (e.g., mobile populations, sex workers)

JOB SPECIFICATION
- Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the provision of high quality HIV prevention services
- Perform finger prick of capillary blood for HIV rapid testing
- Provide TB and STI symptom screening
- Provide individualized risk assessment and risk reduction counselling
- Provide Positive Health, Dignity and Prevention (PHDP) information to PLHIV
- Refer individuals to family planning and Medical Male Circumcision (MMC), ART, STI/TB diagnosis and treatment, substance abuse counselling, and other medical and social services as appropriate
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
- Participate in team meetings and appropriate training workshops
