Job title: Enrolled Nurse Specialist - ICU

Reports to: Unit Manager

Location: Western Cape (Private Hospital)

Qualification & Experience:

• Registration with SANC
• Qualified as an Enrolled Nurse
• ICU working experience
• Ability to work shifts according to the operational requirements of the hospital
• Understanding of the private industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage

Attributes: A candidate who is a team player, results-orientated, hard-working with good communication skills and customer orientated will be most suitable for this position

Duties and Responsibility

• Maintain all health, safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe patient environment
• Effective utilization of resources
• Effective maintenance of equipment
• Accurate record keeping
• The continued education of patients
• Build effective relationships with patients, doctors and other medical personnel to ensure quality patient care
