Enrolled Nurse
Fixed Term Sessional contract

Main purpose of the job
To administer, maintain and coordinate the logistical aspects of clinical trials according to good
clinical practice, the study protocol and the standard operating procedures and to act as a
pivotal point of contact for the clinical trial team and the study sponsor(s).

Key performance areas
Patient Recruitment and Retention
Study patient contact activities and files prior to screening visits
Performing patient vitals and direct patients for relevant procedures and tests, report any adverse
events to Medical Officer
Quality control patient files, proactively resolve protocol queries and missing data
Assist the pharmacist with IVRS acknowledgement of drug and shipments

Required minimum education and training
2 years Enrolled Nurse certificate

Professional body registration
SANC registration

Required minimum work experience
Minimum 1 years’ experience in an oncology environment

Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
Certification in good clinical practice (GCP) is advantageous
Microsoft office skills
Communication skills both written and verbal
Overtime and travel may be required
Maintain diplomacy and confidentiality
