Enterprise Account Manager – Telecoms (Uganda)

Sapientis has partnered with a leading international Telecoms firm to find an Enterprise Account Manager to lead and oversee sales efforts and operations in Uganda.

You will have significant knowledge of and experience in the Telecommunications industry, and you will deliver sales revenues and cash flow to the Enterprise Market, and lead in the engagement, on-boarding, growing and retention of Enterprise Accounts.

You will meet the following minimum requirements
• Ugandan national, based in Uganda currently
• Degree/Diploma in Sales, Marketing or Business Management
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Sales / Key Accounts role at senior management level
• Telecommunications sector experience (non negotiable) – minimum 5 years
• In-depth understanding of the current market trends and competitors in the Telecoms market and associated segments
• Solid knowledge and understanding of Telecommunications technology (Satellite, Broadband Fibre, Cloud, Data Center, Next Generation Communications, Wide Area Networking - routing and optics etc.)
• Proven track record of selling telecommunication solutions
• Comprehensive deal negotiating skills

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Building and managing key customer relationships to secure existing and future sales revenue with specific clients
• Identify key decision makers at the highest levels of the client organization (owners, board, CXO) and managing the relationships accordingly
• Closing deals, and managing sales revenue and profitability (net cash flow) and achieving all performance targets
• Generating sales opportunities within defined Key Customers/Territories

Location: Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Kampala, Uganda.
