PBT Group has an opening for an Enterprise Architect to define and monitor
adherence to architectural standards for the development, deployment and
management of application, information, communication and technology
infrastructure. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results
through others, over periods of 1 - 2 years.

DUTIES:
- Provide input into
digital business strategy;
- Create and manage the IT digital enablement
strategy. Adjusting for market and business changes;
- Create and maintain
digital reference architecture in the scope of the whole enterprise
architecture;
- Create application-, information-, data-, service- architecture
future states in concert with the business and infrastructure architectures;

Create and maintain a digital roadmap describing the transition from as-is to
to-be;
- Participating in the digital control gates to ensure compliance to
roadmap;
- Liaise with Enterprise Architecture (EA) team to ensure a coherent
future state;
- Liaise with counterparts in the rest of the group to create
more opportunities for group collaboration and sharing;
- Product evaluation
and selection;
- Driving technology side of digital RFI and RFP processes;

Project solution design review and governance.

WORK DESCRIPTORS:
Governance
- Defines and maintains architectural standards for the development,
deployment and management of application, information, communication and
technology infrastructure;
- Governs and assists solution development to ensure
conformance to the Group architectural standards;
- Governs and assists in the
Life Cycle Management of solutions to promote adherence to IT Principles and
synergy;
- Provides input to IT Strategy, Policies and Principles;
- Ensures
that the Group IT architecture aligns with IT strategy and is presented and
approved through the Group Architecture processes.

Technical Consultation

Researches material, sells concepts and encourages business to assess and
refocus both its business and IT strategy;
- Provides consulting to project
teams and clients.

- Engineering degree or suitable four year post grade computer science degree;
- Minimum 3 years of Enterprise Architecture experience;
- Minimum 2 years’
experience in international business advantageous;
- Experience in ME Commerce;
- Web. Mobile and Social Media experience;
- Development experience;
- SOA
experience with SOA and web services;
- Understanding of Networks and Security.
