OVERVIEW: National Business and IT Solutions company based in Linbro Park (Sandton), requires Technical Pre-Sales Engineers for their Enterprise Server, Storage and Network Solutions.
To obtain detailed solution requirements from sales or direct from client, spec the solution and liaise with sales to ensure process is finalised. Must have 3 years’ experience in designing and creating Enterprise IT Solutions incorporating IT Hardware, Software, Networking and Server/Storage. Certifications in HP / Dell / Cisco / MS / Virtualisation required, alternatively must have over 5 years’ dedicated technical experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable car
• CompTia Certification A+ and N+ or similar OR Certificate/Diploma in Information Technology
• Vendor ESSN hardware product sales certifications an advantage (Dell, HP & Cisco)
• Software Sales Certifications will be an advantage (Microsoft, Adobe, VMware etc.)
• Valid SA ID
• Afrikaans as a first or second language a definite advantage

Minimum 3 years’ experience required
• Previous experience in Enterprise Servers, Storage & Networking products
o Servers – Blade, Rack and Tower (Dell, HP)
o Storage - (HP, Dell, Equallogic, Compellent)
o Server and Networking Racks
o UPS and Generator Solutions (APC, Eaton, Delta)
o Backup Solutions (HP and Dell LTO tape and disk to disk backup solutions)
o Networking (Dell PowerConnect, HP Proliant, Cisco Catalyst)
o Installations, Maintenance and Support.
o Virtualisation Solutions (Dell VStart and HP Virtual System)
o Vmware and Hyper V virtualisation; licensing and implementation.
o IT rentals
o Hosted Exchange, archiving and backup solutions.

o HP Computing Systems Specialist (Servers, Storage, Networking)
o HP Service One Gold Partner.
o HP SMB Storage Gold Partner.
o Cisco Select Partner
o HP Network Specialist.
o Dell Preferred Partner
