Purpose of the Job:
The purpose of this role is to deliver a wide range of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) services to the company’s clients both within the public and private sector.

Main Functions:
• Advise clients on ERM issues and solutions, in terms of leading practice (e.g. King 3/4, etc.) and legislation (e.g. PFMA, MFMA, etc.)
• Develop ERM frameworks, strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines
• Advise clients on ERM corporate governance requirements, e.g. structural configuration etc.
• Facilitate risk assessment workshops
• Chair Risk Committee meetings on behalf of clients
• Advise and facilitate risk monitoring and reporting
• Present ERM awareness and other training
• Perform ERM quality assurance reviews
• Develop Risk Appetite frameworks and models
• Monitor and manage project budgets and finances
• Distribute client satisfaction surveys and request feedback
• Monitor and manage performance of subordinates
• Plan resources
• Perform internal risk management procedures for potential opportunities and prepare quotations / proposals

Requirements:
Qualifications and experience:
• CIA or CCSA or CA(SA) or B.Com Hon Enterprise Risk Management
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience in the ERM field with a proven track record at a managerial level

Critical Technical Skills or competencies:
• Ability to deliver on ERM requirements
• Ability to sell ERM work to current and target clients
• Knowledge of both public and private sector
• Broad knowledge of relevant legislation ie PFMA, MFMA, Companies Act, King 3/4 etc
• Ability to compile and write reports
• Good project management ability
• Ability to manage teams
• Good presentation skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build good client relationships
