POSITION: Enterprise Solution Support Engineer
LOCATION: Linbro Park (Sandton)
SALARY: Basic R15-20kpm (based on experience) PLUS car allowance, cell allowance and fuel for business use.

OVERVIEW:
National Business and IT Solutions company based in Linbro Park (Sandton), requires a Support Engineer with at least 10 Years IT hardware and software support experience of which 5 years’ is on Enterprise Software (MS, Adobe, VMWare), Servers, Storage and Networking Product (Dell, HP, Cisco) support experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• 10 Years IT hardware and software support experience
• Vendor ESSN hardware product technical certifications are essential (Dell, HP & Cisco) – Min 5 Years Working Experience
• Software Certifications (Microsoft, Adobe, VMware etc.) – Min 5 Years Working Experience
• CompTia Certification A+ & N+
• MCP or MCSE
• Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology
• Excellent communication in both English and Afrikaans
• Valid SA ID
• Valid driver’s license and own car

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
• To Support ESSN (Enterprise Software, Servers, Storage & Networking) Products to existing and potential customers.
• To Support SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) to existing and potential customers.
• You will be required to support ESSN (Enterprise Servers, Storage & Networking) Products offered by the company to existing and potential customers.
• You will be required to communicate with both clients and potential clients in order to fully understand the needs and wants of the clients IT systems.
• You will be required to Support Service Level Agreements (SLA) to existing and potential customers which should include extended warranties where possible.
• Solutions overview:
o Servers – Blade, Rack and Tower (Dell, HP)
o Storage - (HP, Dell, Equallogic, Compellent)
o Server and Networking Racks
o UPS and Generator Solutions (APC, Eaton, Delta)
o Backup Solutions (HP and Dell LTO tape and disk to disk backup solutions)
o Networking (Dell PowerConnect, HP Proliant, Cisco Catalyst)
o Installations, Maintenance and Support.
o Virtualisation Solutions (Dell VStart and HP Virtual System)
o Vmware and Hyper V virtualisation; licensing and implementation.
o IT rentals
o Hosted Exchange, archiving and backup solutions.
