Brief Posting Description
To fulfil on administrative portfolio duties for the Africa Equity Opportunities Fund team and conduct analysis of listed companies required by the investment process.
Detailed Description
Job Requirements
• Manage database of listed company information
• Prepare documents for morning meetings
• Generate ad hoc reports for weekly and monthly requirements
• Monitor corporate actions of listed companies
• Back up when team is travelling especially on dealing
• Assist the investment team with cash management
• Manage the IPO process for new listings
• Building and maintaining financial models
• Presenting analysis of companies to the investment team
• Liaise between investment team and operations team

Additional Details
• A recognized Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance.
• A post-graduate qualification will be an advantage as well as being a CA (SA).
• A CFA designation or studies towards this will a distinct advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years in the same or similar role
• Ability to use spreadsheets for financial information is key
• A proactive, entrepreneurial self-starter
