Outputs / Core Tasks: 

  1. Independent administration of complex deceased estates in terms of relevant legislation.
  2. Interpretation of wills.
  3. Communication with clients, intermediaries and various stakeholders.
  4. Providing leads to intermediaries.
  5. Completion of income tax returns (including all relevant taxes).
  6. Reconciliation and authorization of bank transactions and systems.
  7. Problem solving and accountability a necessity.
  8. Guidance and training of Estate Administrator Assistants.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Grade 12
  • Estate & Trust Diploma will be a strong recommendation.
  • Relevant Financial or Legal qualification will be an advantage.
  • At least 8 years estate administration experience, including administration of more complex estates.
  •  Knowledge of appropriate legislation linked to estate administration.
  • Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans
