ESTATE AMBASSADOR – 4 MONTH CONTRACT - INTERNATIONALLY OWNED WINE ESTATE, STELLENBOSCH
Excellent opportunity for recently qualified marketing graudate to gain some valuable experience within the PR & Marketing departments of an internationally owned wine estate in Stellenbosch. Fixed term contract position: November 2017 – February 2018

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS:
• BCom Marketing degree / diploma
• CWA certificate coupled with above average wine knowledge
• Minimum 1 – 2 years experience gained within the wine industry in a similar role
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Immaculately groomed
• Drivers License with own reliable transport

KPA’S:
• Responsible for optimisation of awareness of the property to guests and off-site public
• Evolve the Estate Ambassador position/department ensuring new levels of excellence in brand awareness
• To be immaculately groomed and maintain appearances within the brief given
• Acts as the liaison between all guests/off-site public and the PR and Marketing Department
• Be familiar with all marketing related aspects of the Estate i.e. Wine Lounge, Restaurants, Spa, Lodges, Winery and direct sales components
• Responsible for collecting pertinent information of guests interacted with for data base
• Responsible for managing the data base
o Collecting data base forms
o Allocating to correct marketing aspect
o Allocating to correct geographical area

• Within the scope of liaison with the various departments of the estate, responsible for:
o Providing marketing support for all departments and when receiving guests, VIP visitors
o Collate observations from guests to assist various departments with staff training topics to improve service standards
o Responsible for show-arounds – having a comprehensive and intimate knowledge of all aspects of the wine estate
o Ensure press releases are up-to-date and available for PR department
o Ensure all brochures and department collateral stock levels are maintained
o All coordination of electronic and print collateral across the estate and various departments
o Coordination and supervision of all photo-shoots on the estate
o Coordination and distribution of all of the marketing collateral throughout the estate
o Management (including stock management) of all of the estate collateral
o Attending all required meetings including Stellenbosch Tourism and Stellenbosch Wine Routes meetings
o Database coordination and management - Coordinate all the marketing departments database updates
o Ensure the various departments uphold a detailed and correct listing of clients

Salary: R9000.00 gross pm
