Overview:

Fetola is looking for an experienced Events and Stakeholder Manager to join our team. You’ll be responsible for the successful planning and implementation of Fetola’s key national events and related stakeholder management. This role is central to the future growth of the business and requires is a senior manager with the ability to operate at a strategic level.

Experience and Training:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Stakeholder Management, Strategy Development, Transformation, Public Relations, or related
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in stakeholder and/or communications management
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in events management
• Decision-making and project management skills
• Corporate experience (advantageous)
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Report and proposal writing skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels
• Team player, and the ability to build strong relationships and work in cross-functional levels

Key Tasks:

Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Events
• Successfully deliver an annual programme of key national events through partner management and integration
• Ensure integration of these events into Fetola’s annual plan to ensure maximum value for the company
• Attend external events and conferences

2. Publications
• Support and delivery of Fetola’s strategic content in professional event-related publications

3. Stakeholder Management
• Contribute to the development of the overall stakeholder management strategy
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, including beneficial collaboration and partnerships
• Successfully nurture and engage with key stakeholders to build on the value of national events

4. Strategic Support
• Contribute significantly to the future growth of the company through supporting Fetola’s growth and development, including innovation of products and services
