This well-known, genteel hotel and conferencing facility has a 6month maternity cover opportunity for a person of flair to come in and assist the Department Manager.
The 6month maternity cover will start in August but there may be an opportunity for a month’s handover. This would be an ideal opportunity for an INTERN who is looking for F&B / Events experience.

Scope and general purpose of the role:
To liaise with all clients, ascertaining their requirements and co-ordinating these needs to ensure the successful execution of the function to the highest Property standards and to the client’s utmost satisfaction.

Responsible to:
Food and Beverage Manager and Conference and Banqueting Manager

Liaises with:
• Executive Chef
• Conference and Banqueting Manager
• Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager
• Conference and Banqueting staff
• Reservations with regards to accommodation in connection with functions
• Accounts Department
• Front office with regards to signage and directions for clients and other logistical elements

Requirements for the role:

• Highly organiased & energised
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and work harmoniously with others at ALL TIMES
• Attention to detail with an eye for precision and the smaller things that make all the difference
• Ability to “think on your feet”
• An Intern seeking experience in F&B or Events Coordination, or:
• Similar role experience and / or experience in the hospitality / leisure industry
• Due to the nature of functions this would suit a candidate local to the area

Additional information:
• Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm and Wedding Coordination. Unusual work hours are as per operational requirements and client
