Position : OBIEE Developer
Work location : Johannesburg, South Africa
Mode of Employment: Contract (6 Months and Extendable)

Job Description:

Key responsibilities The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
Analyses and Design
• Preparation of Technical Design Documentation based on BRS and FRS documents
• Update of Reporting traceability matrices
o Report > Schema mapping
o Schema > ETL Mapping
o Metadata management
• Definition of data models and design of models such as
o Relational, Star and Snowflake schema’s
o ETL Definition including Mapping and Transform rules

OBIEE Development
• Development of Dashboards
• Development of Analyses
• Development of Adhoc / Interactive Reports
• Dashboards, Analyses and Interactive Reports to be developed using Agile methods

BIP Development
• Development of Fixed Format Reports in BI Publisher
• Development of Data Models
• Development of custom integration / extension points
• Implementation of Security and User Profile management within OBIEE

Support and mentorship
• Support and guidance of the internal development team on BIP and OBIEE Development
• Technical training sessions to be designed on conducted on specific implementation patterns
• Development and code review of developed Reports, Analyses, Data Models and Dashboards

Qualifications Technology experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferable
o B.Sc (Computer Science)
o B.Com (Information Systems / Informatics)
• Oracle Certification
o Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher
o Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise

• Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c, SQL Server, T-SQL
• PL/SQL, T-SQL
• Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher
• Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise
• OBIEE Data Visualisation

Working Experience
• Minimum 7 years in Information Technology (applications and software development)
• Minimum 5 years in Software Development
• Minimum 3 years Integration Development
• Insurance / Retail Investments / Employee Benefits highly advantageous
