The successful candidate will assist the Executive Chef in both culinary and administrative tasks.

We are looking for a professional who is dedicated to food quality and sets high standards for their output.

Diploma in Culinary Arts with 4 years 5* Game Lodge cuisine experience in remote Game Reserves required.

Thorough knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.

Excellent record of kitchen and staff management

Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions

Familiar with industry’s best practices

Knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff and implementing kitchen procedures

High level of creativity and reliability

Flexible schedule required

Familiarity with menu costing procedures

Working knowledge of computer software programs.
