Key Performance Areas will include but not limited to the following:
• Manage correspondence on behalf of the CEO (requests and stakeholder complaints)
• Filter emails and highlight urgent correspondence
• Manage and maintain the CEO’s diary and schedule/ manage on his behalf meeting requests
• Coordinate the activities of the Executive Management and Management Committees
• Maintain strict confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels of management, staff and stakeholders
• Managing travel and accommodation arrangements for the CEO
• Ensure that travel and subsistence claims are duly completed and submitted on time
• Support the CEO in respect of meetings and official commitments
• Prepare correspondence on behalf of the CEO, including the drafting of general replies
• Develop and manage budget for the CEO’s Office
• Provide a full range of personal assistance to the CEO including general administrative work
• Procure goods and services for the CEO’s office through Supply Chain Management process and the payment thereof
• Manage events in the CEO’s Office
• Coordinate and quality manage documents to be submitted under the CEO’s signature such as Strategic Plans and requests from the Executive Authority
• Coordination of activities of the CEO’s project, the International Leadership Development Programme (ILDP)
• Manage governance related reports
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment and take appropriate action
• Any other duties that may be required by the CEO.
Minimum Requirements
• Matric
• Valid driver’s license and reliable own transport
• Interpersonal Skills
• Computer Literate
• 10 years’ experience in the relevant field
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent sense of confidentiality
PR for the CEO’s Office
• Speech writing
• Prepare briefs, presentations and responses
• Prepare Press statements
• Editorial support for documents that require the CEO’s approval (Annual Report, newsletters, invitations, etc.)
