Leading Group within the Healthcare Insurance Sector are seeking an Executive Manager ICT. Your skills and experience are required to head up the IT division for the Group

Key areas of focus will include:
· Responsible for the management and direction of all IT resources in line with the business strategy and priorities
· Ensures that optimal value is realised from IT project and services portfolios
· Educates the board and executives on current technology capabilities and future directions, the opportunities that IT provides and what the business has to do to capitalise on the opportunities
· Creates a strategic plan that defines hot IT will contribute to the enterprise’s strategic objects and related costs and risks
· Creates a portfolio of tactical IT plans that are derived from the IT strategic plan
· Actively manages the portfolio of IT –enabled investment programmes to achieve specific strategic business objectives
· Assesses the performance of existing plans and information systems in terms of contribution to business objectives

Education and experience required:
Matric coupled with tertiary education - Information Technology
Management experience coupled with strong business acumen is required
Ability to manage a large team of Developers and Systems Analysts essential
Strong capacity planning and performance management ability essential
Experience within the Healthcare, Insurance or Medical space required
