Executive Manager: Mining
An independent consultancy offering a wide range of professional services within the scientific and technology research sector is looking to hire an Executive Manger: Mining to be permanently based in Pretoria, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Mining clusters stakeholder engagement with the private and public sectors in mining and related industries.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Master of Science in Geology, Geosciences or mining engineering
Must have a Business qualification
Must have a minimum of 5 years senior management experience in a Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) and commercialisation industry or Research and Technology Organisation (RTO)
Must have a previous experience managing a minimum annual budget of R100 million linked to a RDI industry or RTO
Must have track record of successful IP commercialisation
Must have experience of high level stakeholder management in the mining or related industry
Must have demonstrable business acumen and be an excellent communicator
Must have organisational development experience
