EXECUTIVE PERSONAL ASSISTANT (PA to Director)
LOCATION: Durban, South

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1). Managing an extremely active calendar of appointments
2). Completing expense reports;
3). Capturing and payment of invoices
4). Ad-hoc finance work – e.g.. Reconciling of credit cards
5). Composing and preparing correspondence that is confidential
6). Arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas and compiling documents for travel-related meetings. Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected. Provides
7). "Gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the Directors time and office.
8). Communicates directly, and on behalf of the Director, with Board members and employees on matters related to Directors initiatives.
9). Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Director, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
10). Provides a bridge for communication between the Directors office and internal departments thus demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
11). Works closely and effectively with the Director keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Acts as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CFO updated.
12). Interacts effectively and professionally with clients and the public
13). Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including, drafting correspondence and other tasks that facilitate the CFO's ability to effectively lead the company.
14). Manage Directors personal business as well as company responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
a). Matric
b). Tertiary and or seceterial qualification essential
c). 5 to 8 years of experience supporting Executives (Director or General Manager level)
d). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat
e). Flexibility to work long hours when required
