The successful candidate will be responsible for one of the largest projects ever developed by the recognized market leader for short term insurance in South Africa. They must have experience and ability to take the lead on a project.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary IT qualification or qualification through experience

• Java/JEE/JSE, Java Web Services is essential

• 8+ years systems development experience

• 6+ years developing in Java

• 2+ years Web services experience

• Strong OO analysis and design understanding

• Experience with UML, KMS, SOAP, Hibernate

• SQL Server knowledge

• Experience with SDLC and methodologies
