Export Controller – North West
Perm R17k CTC dep on experience

Purpose:
Contribute to the development of the logistics; freight & forwarding In-House functions.
Maintain a “hands on service” at all times and attend to the Client’s requirements promptly, efficiently and proactively.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must Currently Reside in Rustenburg; Brits; Pretoria North / Surrounds
• Matric
• Advanced: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; SAP/WMS
• 3 to 5 years Export experience (Air, Sea, Road and Courier).
• Automotive background.
• Working knowledge of: Letter of Credit, Certificate of Origin, Quality Inspections through i.e. SGS, Bureau Veritas, Preparation of all Export documentation, RFC’s
• Cost and profit conscious.
• Own transport with a valid unendorsed driver’s license.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible hours when required.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Warehouse Logistics
• Lean.
• 5S and Quality Management Systems.

Duties:
• Control and Manage all Export Orders.
• Update and maintain Shipping Register on a Daily basis, report on any deviations in performance.
• Accurate updates and maintain GICS.
• Status Reports to be kept updated and communicated to Clients, ensuring that customer requirements are achieved.
• Control, Manage and follow-up on all Air line, Shipping Line, Road Freight and Courier bookings.
• Quality check all Invoicing.
• Requesting and completing Estimates.
• Daily checking of Orders to ensure on time shipment of complete Orders.
• Accurate shipment of complete Orders within the Lead-Time.
• Accurate submission of Shipping documentation to the Clients, Bank, Freight Forwarders and Clearing Agent.
• Monthly Reports on Productivity and Lead-Time.
• Assisting in achieving Targets and Revenue growth in line with Consolidated budgets.
• Ensure shipments are being shipped accurately to avoid any unnecessary charges.
• On-Time Investigation of RFC’s Queries and Claims.
• To attend to accounts requirements and requests promptly and efficiently.
• To ensure that the Company’s Service Performance Objectives are achieved.
• To adhere to all documented and verbal Procedures, Work Instructions and Disciplines.
• To assist all parties involved with any problems, queries etc pertaining to the account.
• Assist and be involved in the Risk Management that includes;
o Internal Risk Assessments,
o SHERQ Audits,
o QMS,
o ISO Audits and Compliance,
o 5 Star Compliance.
• Attend all scheduled Meetings. Attend all scheduled Training.
