Our client a leader in the mining sector and chemical industry are looking to engage the services of a logistics administrator. Ideal candidate must come highly qualified with experience in exports into Southern African countries.

Manage the supply of raw material to Southern African countries.
Maintaining stock levels for all sites in Southern Africa.
Scheduling and tracking all road transport.
Purchasing product/ Raw Materials from 3rd party suppliers.
Processing of all relevant documentation(SAD500, Commercial invoices, F178’s, Road manifest etc)
Applying for all necessary permits for Import and export of explosives and raw materials.
Importing of all raw materials to South Africa for manufacture of explosives and emulsion.
Placing of import orders as per production forecast.
Costing as per the Total Cost of Ownership model for Import Shipments.
Arranging of shipping from Overseas suppliers via both sea and airfreight.
Processing of POD’S for all road freight.
Arranging of transport for internal stock movements in Southern Africa.
Sending out daily tracking schedules to all customers.
Communicating with Shipping Lines, Clearing agents, suppliers.
Communicating any discrepancies regarding stock levels and usage with Senior Management.

Education
Diploma in procurement or logistics
At least 3-5 years’ experience in exports into Africa
