Requirements:
Degree/Diploma
4 years’ experience as an export coordinator/controller
Knowledge of SARS documentary processes
Knowledge of multi-modal documentation

Responsibilities
To ensure export documentary legislatory compliance in accordance with both South African and importing country requirements are met with despatching of consignments.
Receive load plan and register a file for each consignment
Obtain all relevant permits, import and export certification for the consignments
Inform the relevant parties of the transport requirements
Submit EDI request to ITD customs department
Send haulage instruction / final confirmation on load readiness to all relevant parties
Prepare the documentation for hand over to operations/transporter for day of loading
Prepare all inspections bookings for day of loading
Ensure despatching of consignments
