Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain or equivalent
4 years’ experience as an Export Coordinator/Controller
Knowledge of multi-modal documentation

Responsibilities
Submit EDI request to ITD customs department
Send pre-alert and shipping instructions to all relevant parties
To ensure export documentary legislator compliance in accordance with both South African and importing country requirements are met with despatching of consignments.
Send haulage instruction / final confirmation on load readiness to all relevant parties
Prepare the documentation for hand over to operations/transporter for day of loading
Obtain all relevant permits, import and export certification for the consignments
Inform the relevant parties of the transport requirements
Obtain final documentation and ensure timeous despatch for clearing of consignments (sea freight only)
