Main Functions:
As Export Sales Manager you will be responsible for coordinating sales, delivery, invoicing and inventories for the Middle East region through liaison and collaboration with Group subsidiaries, direct customers and agents as well as a number of internal stake holders such as production planning, quality assurance, logistics and financial.

Some overseas travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring satisfaction of international customers, subsidiary companies and agents.
• Establishing and growing market share in the region in collaboration with subsidiaries and agents.
• Selling material and capacity above tariff and ensuring freight, claims and special costs are covered.
• Selling product mix by liaising and controlling order acceptance from customer base.
• Managing overdue and outstanding orders in collaboration with Operations Planning, Technical Control and Logistics management.
• Controlling and managing finished goods levels for the region in collaboration with the Senior Manager (Exports).
• Liaising with the Shipping Manager to control finished goods inventory and on-time shipping.

Minimum Qualification Requirement:
• Tertiary qualification (Commercial/Engineering), Marketing, sales, business management and metallurgy qualifications are preferred.
• 5 to 10 years relevant experience

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
• Knowledge of stainless steel types and applications.
• Knowledge of business principles and processes such as operational/production planning, logistics, shipping and business management.
• Strong analytical skills, an ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity and to provide effective solutions to problems.
• Emotional maturity and strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Energy, flexibility, confidence and self-motivation.
• Effective time-management and organising skills.
• Detail orientated but also able to focus on broader business issues and trends.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
