EXTERNAL INSPECTOR position available in THABAZIMBI:

Purpose of the Role:
The requirement is for a qualified Inspector that can assist with the upkeep and increase of reliability of equipment through inspection, measurement and rectification of cement making machinery. The use of hand tools and measuring equipment is essential.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• Manufacturing plant/Mining plant environment experience is essential
• Qualified Fitter, Millwright, Electrician with Minimum N2 qualification
• 5 years’ after trade experience
• Grade 12
• Competent judgement skills on failures of cement equipment and ability to repair and do quality over inspections
• Conduct Inspections and audits
• Incident reporting
• Experience in condition monitoring will be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in using various measurement tools
• Commitment to observe and uphold safety procedures.
• Executing standby duties as per operational schedule
• Carrying out all preventative maintenance (walk-by) inspections, execute scheduled maintenance activities and quality inspections.
• Execution of standard inspection on equipment to prevent failures
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, and Pragma)

SALARY PACKAGE:
• R 408 000 per annum
• Plus 50% Medical Aid
